Long Beach City College (2002-03): California state champion in the 110m hurdles with time of 14.05)...set school record in long jump with leap of 25-7 1/4...state's Junior College Athlete of the Year...Florida State (2000-2001): Named Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman of the Year after winning the conference 400m hurdles title (50.80)...NCAA qualifier...USATF Junior All-American...competed at 2001 World Junior Championships in England...ran on first-place 4x100m relay (39.72) and 4x400m relay (3:07.13) teams...second place in 400m hurdles (51.45).

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned four letters at McEachern High (Powder Springs, Ga.) for track coach Lee Gower...twice named all-county and two-time all-Region 5AAAA long jump champion...region champ in the 100m and 300m hurdles...Cobb County champ in long jump and intermediate hurdles three different times...named all-state and team MVP as senior...best prep marks include 23-11 1/2 in long jump, 14.17 in 110m hurdles and 39.14 in 300m hurdles.
