Earned three 3 letters in cross country coached by Jean Licari, two letters in swimming, and three in track under coach Mike Minahan at Federal Way High...won state 800m title as a junior (1:52.35) and finished third as a senior (1:53.50) and fifth as sophomore (1:56.5)…member of team’s 1600m relay that won district and state championship titles senior year, district winners junior year, and third in state sophomore season (3:22)…captained cross country and track teams senior year…voted track most inspirational......selected as Athlete of the Year by Federal Way Mirror…as a junior, qualified for state in cross country and for district in 100yd breast stroke…sophomore year placed second in 800m at Junior Olympics Nationals in time of 1:55.85…two-time All-American in Junior Olympics cross country (1993, 1995)...Hershey National Champion in 1997 with time of 2:05.45.
