TWO-TIME ALL-AMERICAN

WSU CAREER. JUNIOR (2009-10): Indoor - Ran NCAA Provisional Qualifying time in 800m of 2:06.86i at Husky Classic (2/13/10, Seattle)...also ran on 1600m relay with season-best 3:42.30, and on distance medley relay with time of 11:36.30 for fifth at MPSF Championships...Outdoor - Finished fourth in 800m and ran on fifth-place 1600m relay at Pac-10 Championships...at the NCAA Preliminary Rounds in Austin was 24th and last qualifier in prelims (2:08.71) but came back and ran top outdoor 800m time of 2:05.17 for second place in semifinals...at NCAA Championships earned second All-America honors with 14th place finish (2:07.60)...slated to run at USA Championships but illness prevented her participation...selected for USA team for NACAC (North American, Central American, Caribbean) Under-23 Championship where finished third in 800m in 2:05.39 (7/11/10, Miramar, Fla.)

SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Indoor - Ran the 800m in a best time of 2:09.41i for sixth place at MPSF Championships (2/28/09, Seattle)...ran second leg of 4x400m relay team with season-best 3:41.59i for fourth place at MPSF meet...member of school record Distance Medley Relay team with time of 11:17.92i at Notre Dame NCAA Last Chance meet (3/7/09, South Bend)...Outdoor - Opened season with NCAA RQ mark in 800m of 2:09.23 at Trojan Invite (3/21/09, Los Angeles)...16th in 800m at Pac-10 Championships (2:17.56).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2007-08): Indoor - Suffered foot stress fracture in January 2008 and missed entire indoor season...Outdoor - Finally began full training with unorthodox methods of running with hurdlers rather than middle distance runners...ran a time of 2:08.23 at Washington State-Washington Dual meet (5/3/08, Pullman)...placed third in 800m at Pac-10 Championships with PR time of 2:04.87, fourth-best in WSU all-time (5/17/08, Tempe)...at NCAA West Regional, finished sixth in 800m (2:06.97)...at NCAA Championships ran prelim time of 2:06.85, seventh-fastest among 27 women racing...in 800m semifinals finished fifth with time of 2:04.03 which was a PR by .84 seconds, and second-best time in WSU women's 800m history (6/12/08, Des Moines)...finished eighth in 800m final with time of 2:06.93...earned All-America status.

FRESHMAN (2006-07) Cross Country - Redshirt...diagnosed with mononucleosis in October 2006...had appendix removed in November 2006...Indoor - redshirt season...Outdoor - Redshirt season due to stress reactions in her knees and feet.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at Central Valley High...four in cross country and four in track under Coach Dennis McGuire... member of the Washington team for Border Clash...member of the Bloomsday Association for Western Regional Footlocker...freshman year finished 13th in 4A state championships in cross country...as a sophomore finished 18th in 4A state for cross country...placed third in 800m at 4A state championships...named to All-Greater Spokane League track team...senior year finished third in 4A state championships in cross country...named to All-GSL team for cross country...named Valley Herald Athlete of the Week.

PERSONAL. Born in February 1988, at Atlanta, Ga...mother Debra passed away in Fall 2008 after a long illness, was an English professor...older brothers James and Joe...played violin in orchestra...majoring in general social sciences.
