SOPHOMORE (2000-2001): Cross Country - Bothered by IT band problem which kept her from fully training or competing until mid-season…finished 43rd overall and 5th on team at Pac-10 Championships (10/28/00, Seattle)…was 65th overall and 4th on WSU team at NCAA West Region Championships (11/11/00, Fresno)…FRESHMAN (1999-00): Cross Country - Was the top Cougar runner at the NCAA West Regional Championships at 29th with a time of 18:07 for the 5,000m course (11/13/99, Troutdale, Ore.)…Indoor - Finished 9th at MPSF 3,000m with time of 10:19.46i (2/25/00, Reno)…best 3k time of 10:01.53i came at Vandal Indoor (2/18/00, Moscow)…had top mile time of 5:07.50i at McDonald's II (2/19/00, Moscow)…ran on distance medley relay for 5th at MPSF Championships (2/25/00, Reno)…Outdoor - Placed seventh in 5,000m at Pac-10 Championships with PR time of 17:03.64 (5/20/00, Eugene)…ran best 3k time of 10:03.00 at WSU Invite (5/8/00, Pullman)…added a 1500m race to her resume same WSU Invite with time of 4:37.47.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at Potlatch High School…four letters in cross country and three in track, in spite of school not having a track…all with coach Brian Potter…as a FRESHMAN, finished fourth at Idaho state A-3 cross country meet…in spring at state track meet, placed sixth in 3200m, fourth in 800m and seventh in 1600m…during her SOPHOMORE year, won the Idaho A-3 state cross country meet…at state track meet placed sixth in 3200m, and fifth in 1600m races…JUNIOR season saw a repeat of state cross country title…this year won 3200m at state track meet and placed third in 1600m race…SENIOR year was capped with a three-peat of the Idaho state A-3 cross country title…in spring, broke a bone in her foot and couldn't defend her 3200m title at the state track meet.

Born Greta Diane Johnson 10/30/80 at Moscow, Idaho…father David is a reporter for the Lewiston Morning Tribune…mother Diane manages a dog boarding kennel…older sister Heidi Voss (9/21/76)…enjoys both trail and endurance horse riding, dog training, backpacking and fishing…play piano…member of school's Knowledge Bowl team…honor society member…graduated with 4.0 GPA…planning to pursue a degree in pre-veterinary or animal science.
