HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned six varsity letters at Selah High in cross country and track for coach Rick Becker…3A state champion in the 3200m and placed second in state in the 1600m senior season…ran the 1500m (3:58) at the Washington - Oregon Meet of Champions…cross country 3A state champion…Mid-Valley Cross Country Runner of the Year senior and junior seasons…runner-up in state in the 3200m (9:24) junior year…team captain in cross country his senior year.
