WSU CAREER.JUNIOR (2010-11):Indoor -Scored a lifetime-best heptathlon total of 5,022 points winning the Cougar Indoor (1/22/11, Pullman) with five PRs including high jump of 2.01m/6-7i...injury forced withdrawal from MPSF Championships after running PR time of 7.30i in 60m dash...REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2011): Outdoor -Tallied a PR decathlon total of 6,641 points at Jim Click Shootout Multis (4/1/11, Tucson) reaching PRs in eight of his 10 events including 100m (11.51), long jump (6.11m/20-1/2), shot put (13.32m/43-8 1/2), 400m (52.95),110m hurdles (15.23), pole vault (4.20m/13-9 1/4) javelin (51.14m/167-9) and erased 21 seconds of his 1500m time (5:14.78)...finished 13th at Pac-10 Championships (6248)...Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Indoor - Pole vaulted PR height of 4.45m/14-7 1/4i at WSU Indoor Open (1/16/10, Pullman)...ran PR time in 60m dash of 7.42i at Cougar Indoor (1/23/10, Pullman)...injured and did not finish pentathlon at Cougar Indoor...completed four of seven events at MPSF heptathlon but did not finish...Outdoor - Redshirt season due to back injury...did not train or compete spring or summer months.

FRESHMAN (2008-09): Indoor - Introduced to combined events competition...finished 10th in heptathlon at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championships with total of 4693 points (2/28/09, Seattle)...Outdoor - Took fifth in first decathlon with 6,003 points at Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational (4/10/09, Los Angeles)...placed 11th in decathlon at Pac-10 Championships with 6231 points (5/10/09, Eugene)...in spite of suffering from tonsillitis at the conference meet, tallied PRs in the 100m (11.53), long jump (6.05m/19-10 1/4w), 400m (55.66), discus (45.03m/147-9) and in javelin (44.98m/147-7).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned nine varsity letters at Kent-Meridian High...four in track and field under former Cougar Ernie Ammons, three in football for coach Trevor Roberts and two in basketball with coach Hank Sylvan...sophomore year ran varsity track, and played varsity basketball and football...team captain of the track team junior and senior years...earned second at state 4A championships for 110m hurdles...senior year was All-South Puget Sound League at wide receiver for the football team...named Athlete of the Week by the Kent Reporters...league and district champion in the 110m hurdles...finished second at state for the 4A 110m hurdles and team finished second in SPSL...holds school records in 110m hurdles and decathlon.

PERSONAL: Born in June 1990 in Pasadena California...father Chester and mother Minako Harris...younger brother Brandon ...enjoys snowboarding...earned a 3.6 GPA in high school...majoring in sport management at WSU.
