JUNIOR (2001-02): Indoor - Ran top indoor 200m time of 24.62i at McDonald’s II (2/16/02, Moscow)…ran lead leg of school record 4x400m relay time of 3:37.54i (3/2/02, Seattle)…at MPSF Championships (2/23/02, Flagstaff) finished fourth in 400m in 54.91i, and eighth in 200m (prelims 24.83i, final 24.99i)…Outdoor - Improved all marks regardless of distance…lowered school record 1600m relay time to 3:37.23 at Texas Relays (4/6/02, Austin)finished fifth in the 400m and seventh in the 200m at the Pac-10 Championships (5/19/02, Pullman)…ran PR time of 53.43 in 400m prelims and in final of 200m (23.97)….

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2000-01): Indoor - Top 400m showing was 57.91i at Idaho Last Chance Meet (3/3/01, Moscow)…clocked in with 200m time of 25.71i at same meet…Outdoor - Ran top season times in 200m (24.47) and 400m (55.13) at the Baldy Castillo Invite (3/24/01, Tempe).

SOPHOMORE (1999-2000): Redshirt for both indoor and outdoor seasons.

FRESHMAN (1998-99 at Georgia Tech): Indoor - Ran 400m, 500m and 600m indoor season for coach Alan Drosky…ran a 1:13.77 in the 500m at the Clemson Opener to finish first...set the school record in the 600m in a time of 1:33.92 at the Saluki Booster's Invitational for first....ran a 54.97 at the ACC Championships, for fifth place...also competed on the 4x400 meter relay team which finished second at the ACC Championships in a time of 3:44.15…Georgia Tech team finished third behind North Carolina and Clemson…Outdoor - red-shirted season with a stress fracture.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned two letters in track at Garfield High for coach Greg Brashear… state champion in 200m, 400m, and 4x200m relay as both a junior and senior…senior year 400m time of 54.34 was second all-time in the state, a 4A state meet record, and 12th-best nationally for prep runners…team MVP senior year…as a junior 400m relay won state title…named most-valuable for Bulldog team that took state team title…

PERSONAL. Born 8/13/80 in Renton, Washington…father Chester is a transit operator…mother Gail Goodwin-Giles…brothers Chester Jerrell and Malcolm…sister Tiaira…Tiffany’s mother and father both played basketball at the University of Kansas…member of South Central Athletic Association working with coach Fred Dean…planning to major in management information systems.
