HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Participated in volleyball, badminton and track and field while attending Holy Cross High in Saskatoon...track coach was Ron Zerr...as a SOPHOMORE, won the shot put and pole vault at the city championships...also finished first in vault at Saskatchewan provincial championships...during her JUNIOR season, won gold and set vault record at both city and provincial championships...flew 10-6 3/4 at provincial meet...during the summer set Canadian Junior outdoor record with vault of 11-11 3/4...grabbed silver medal at Canadian Junior National Championships...also won bronze medal at 1998 Canada-Central America-Caribbean meet...as a SENIOR, took gold medal and set city record at 10-6...repeated as provincial gold medal winner and set record with 10-10 clearance...competed as a member of the Riversdale Athletics Club coached by Rick and Susanne Petrucha.

PERSONAL: Born Andrea Marya Doepker 6/12/81 at Saskatoon...father Walter is a high school teacher...mother Bearice St. Amand-Doepker is also a teacher...older sister Rosalyn (9/8/76) and younger sister Jocelyn (12/13/82)...journalist for school paper...volunteered with physical and mentally challenged children in gymnastics and aquatics activities as a member of Physical Activity for Active Living (PAAL)...three-year member of Principal's Honor Roll...planning to major in kinesiology at WSU.
