FRESHMAN (2012-13): Cross Country - Finished 40th at Clash of Inland NW 4k (16:20.7)...at WCC Preview sixth on team, 57th overall in 6k (23:09.40)...third Cougar, 44th overall at Anderson Invite...at Notre Dame 5k finished sixth on team, 141st overall (19:26)...sixth on team, 46th overall at Inland Empire Classic 5k (19:40)...final scorer at fifth on team and 96th overall at Pac-12 Championships 6k (23:40)...fifth on team, 167th overall at NCAA West Regional with 6k time of 22:43.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at Central Valley High for cross country and track coach Dennis McGuire...two-time cross country state finalist...at state cross country championships Bears girls team placed ninth in 2009 and eighth in 2011...at Footlocker Western Regional Cross Country Championships finished 24th in the 2009 freshman/sophomore girls race and as a senior in 2011 took 12th...on the track, as a junior at Regional meet finished fifth in 3200m and seventh in 1600m...senior year at Greater Spokane League Championships finished third in 3200 and fourth in 1600m helping Bears win GSL team title...at Regional meet again fifth in 3200m and sixth in 1600m.

PERSONAL. Born in September 1993 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho...father John is a pharmacist who was on the Cougars cross country and track teams...John graduated from WSU in 1986...mother Bobbi is a ministry administrative assistant...younger brother Nick...member of Leadership and Key Club in high school...was a Running Start college student at Spokane Falls CC...planning to major in pre-medicine.
