FRESHMAN (2011-12): Transferred to WSU from Air Force Academy in January 2012...Outdoor - Threw season-best javelin distance of 50.05m/164-2 at USC Trojan Invite (3/24/12, Los Angeles)...mark is fifth-best in WSU all-time records...finished third at Pac-12 Championships with toss of 49.31m/161-9...at NCAA Preliminary Rounds threw 44.74m/146-9 (21st)...competed at 2012 USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships (Bloomington, Ind.)...finished fourth after throw of 45.84m/150-4.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned nine varsity letters at Othello High...one in volleyball...four in basketball for coach Laurie Stickel...four in track and field for coach Justin Johnson...named to All-Central Washington Athletic Conference basketball first team twice and second team twice...named league Co-MVP for basketball senior year...named all-league in volleyball as senior...won 2A state javelin title as sophomore, junior and senior...set state record of 173-9 senior year...named prep All-American twice.

Born in January 1993 in Moses Lake, Washington...father Donald is a manager in agriculture sales...mother Angela works in billing and accounting...older brothers Greg and Geoff...older sisters Cody (Parrish) and Caitlin and Courtney (Simmons)...Greg played football at the Air Force Academy...dad, Cody and Geoff all graduated from WSU...Courtney is a two-time All-American javelin thrower and women's team captain at WSU...Othello High valedictorian with 4.0 grade point average...ASB secretary...Honor Society vice president...planning to major in education at WSU.
