JUNIOR (2001-02): Indoor - Top 60m time of season was 6.73i at McDonald’s II Open (2/16/02, Moscow)…finished seventh in 60m dash at MPSF Championships in 7.91i (2/23/02, Flagstaff)…Outdoor - Clocked in at 10.38 for fourth place in the 100m at Texas Relays (4/6/02, Austin)…ran a 10.51 in 100m dash for fourth at Pac-10 Championships (5/19/02, Pullman)…also ran 21.58 in 200m prelims and ran third leg of second-place 4x100m relay (39.69) at conference meet.

BATRON COMMUNITY COLLEGE CAREER. SOPHOMORE (1999-2000): Played running back on the football team…placed fourth in 100m with time of 10.47 in National Junior College Association as the team won the championship.

RANGER COLLEGE CAREER. FRESHMAN (1998-99). running back on the football team…did not run track.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned three letters in track and field for coach by Ottis Henry, and two in football coached by Enoch Dixon, at Beaumont Central High…named All-UIL District 22-5A running back as a senior…same year in track, Region III 100m champion (10.57), second place at Golden West Invite (10.44), and runner-up at state meet with time of 10.33…Beaumont’s 4x100m relay team finished second in 40.44…junior year won 100m title at district meet, was runner-up in Region III, and fourth in Texas 5A meet (10.67)…runner-up in 200m dash at district meet (21.80)…member of the Afterburners Track Club coached by Anthony Batease…placed third in the 200m (21.30) at the Junior Olympics.
