JUNIOR (2006-07): Indoor - Cleared 4.61m/15-1 1/2i in the pole vault at the Vandal Indoor (2/16/07, Moscow)...Outdoor - Season-best clearance of 4.60m/15-1 was at WSU-UW Dual Meet.

SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Indoor - Cleared 4.60m/15-1i twice during season, first at Cougar Indoor (1/28/06, Pullman) and again at Holiday Inn Invite (2/11/06, Boise)...Outdoor - Best vault of 4.75m/15-7 came at Cougar Invite (4/22/06, Pullman).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2004-05): Indoor - Cleared 4.60m/15-1i in the pole vault at the Holiday Inn Team Invite (2/12/05, Boise)...Outdoor - Best mark was 4.40m/14-5 1/4 at the WSU Open (4/2/05, Pullman)...named to Pac-10 Men's Track & Field Academic honorable mention team.

FRESHMAN (2003-04): Injured knee required surgery...redshirt both indoor and outdoor seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven letters at Squalicum High...three each in track and cross country for coaches Tim Irvin and Domanic Urbano...one as captain of the dive team under coach Steve Gibb...3A state champion in the pole vault as a senior...posted pole vault PR of '16...junior year, was Northwest League champion and district champ in the pole vault...third at state in pole vault...league pole vault champ sophomore year...competed with the Bellingham Track Club under coach Dick Henry.

Brown III 12/07/84, at Redlands, Wash...father Donald is a power plant operator...mother Cynthia is a photographer...sisters Jenn (4/01/83), Katie (12/29/86) and Alysha (6/25/91)...brother Ryan (5/1/89)...interested in cars, computers, hiking, camping and Legos...uncle Jeff Brown played baseball at Brigham Young during the 1985 and 1986 seasons...maintained a 3.8 GPA in high school...Eagle Scout...majoring in communication.
