REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2003-04): Indoor - Competed sparsely...concentrated on conditioning...top 200m time of 26.30i at McDonald's Collegiate (2/7/04, Moscow)...best 400m time was 58.75i at McDonald's Last Chance (3/6/04, Moscow)...Outdoor - Competed in UW dual meet 100m (13.17) and 200m (27.46).

COLLEGE CAREER. After graduating from high school, attended Washington State as a part-time student during the 1999-2000 school year...attended Central Arizona College for freshman competitive year (2000-01)...ran on the 4x400m relay that finished third at the National Junior College Championships...redshirt while at CAC for the 2001-02 school year...attended WSU as a part time student fall 2002.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Outstanding career at Spokane's Lewis and Clark High...senior year (1999) was state 4A champion in both the 200m and 400m dash after finishing second in both events as a junior...placed second in the 100m dash at the 1999 state meet...prep PRs are 55.85 in 400m and 24.5 in 200m...garnered third place in state meets in 400m dash during freshman and sophomore years.

Born Teresa Shuntea Brooks 8/12/80 at Pine Bluff, Ark...parents Stanley and Janice Tensley...Stanley is an in-home care provider and Janice works with Hospice...brothers Stanley Tensley Jr., and Lamont Brooks...sisters Monica, Phillis and Natasha...enjoys dancing...first generation high school graduate...first generation to attend college...majoring in criminal justice at WSU.
