WSU CAREER.REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010-11): Indoor - Season best pole vault clearance was 4.82m/15-9 3/4i for 12th at MPSF Championships...Outdoor - Led team with PR height of 4.97m/16-3 1/2 for sixth place at Pac-10 Championships (5/14/11, Tucson)....named Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

FRESHMAN (2010): Indoor - Cleared pole vault height of 4.93m/16-2i at Vandal Collegiate Meet (2/19/10, Moscow)...did not clear a bar at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships...Outdoor - Redshirt season...competing unattached cleared 4.50m/14-9 at Dusty Lane Open.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Earned seven varsity letters at Mountain View High...three as a sprinter in swimming for coach Dave Shoup...four in track for coach Bob Procive...district swimming champion as senior in 50m freestyle and 4x50m medley relay...junior year in track, was runner-up in pole vault at district and regional meet and advanced to state...during senior year set a school record pole vault of 15-3...regional champion and runner-up at 4A state championship meet.

PERSONAL: Born in October 1991 in Vancouver, Washington...father Norman is a safety consultant...mother Sandy is a librarian...older brother Ryan...earned Eagle Scout honor...planning to major in mechanical engineering.
