Cougar legends converged under the sun at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course for Drew Bledsoe's Cougar Legends event, June 13 & 14.
Festivities began Saturday with a hole-in-one contest at the resort's famous floating green. Though no one made a hole-on-one, plenty took their shot at it, and in the process raised money for the Cougar Athletic Fund.
Afterward, a dinner and live auction that determined teams for Sunday's golf took place.

The two-day event served a two-fold purpose, according to Cougar Legend and Cougar Athletic Fund Assistant Director of Development Jason Gesser.
"Guys want to come back and reconnect and this is one of those events where they can accomplish this, but they reconnect for a purpose," said Gesser. "It's for student-athlete scholarships and the Cougar Athletic Fund, and they understand that."
"It's a special event. As you see the event grow it will get bigger and better every year."
The Cougar Legends roster featured: Drew Bledsoe, Mkristo Bruce, Clete Casper, Erik Coleman, Devard Darling, Craig Ehlo, Jason Gesser, Jason Hanson, Scott Hatteberg, Ray Hattenburg, Brett Hull (Honorary Coug), Derek Jones, Matt Kegel, Ernie Kent, Mike Leach, Rian Lindell, Rien Long, Jay Miller, Mike Price, Mark Rypien, Jack Thompson, and Marcus Trufant.
The Cougar Athletic Fund, the fundraising arm of the Washington State University Athletic Department, is committed to covering the annual cost of student-athlete scholarships through private, philanthropic support. The support of Cougar Athletic Fund members enable young men and women to come to Pullman and earn a degree while competing in the Pac-12 Conference.
