Steve Gleason Inducted into WSU Athletic Hall of Fame

Cougar great Steve Gleason was inducted into the Washington State University Athletic Hall of Fame during an in-game presentation between the first and second quarter of the Apple Cup, Saturday.
Gleason is the sole member of the 2014 class and was presented his honor by Director of Athletics Bill Moos and former head coaches Mike Price and Bill Doba on the Martin Stadium field (pictured above).
The team wore No. 34 decals on their helmets, Gleason's number when he played at WSU from 1996-1999, and before the game, Gleason gave a message to the Cougar football team.

At the end of the first quarter, Doba, Price and Moos came out on the field and, after a video with a message from Gleason played on the video board, Steve entered, with his son Rivers and wife Michel, to a standing ovation from the sold-out Martin Stadium crowd.

Gleason and his family watched the game at the Gray W Lounge inside the Cougar Football Complex. Governor Jay Inslee stopped by to congratulate Gleason on his honor.
