Assistant Coach / Director of Operations – Women’s Volleyball
Washington State University is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Assistant Volleyball Coach / Director of Operations to support the competitive and operational success of the Women’s Volleyball program within an NCAA Division I environment. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and relevant volleyball coaching, operations, and/or elite playing experience; collegiate or NCAA experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Coach / Director of Operations will coordinate all aspects of team travel; serve as the primary liaison with athletic department operations staff; oversee planning and execution of volleyball camps and clinics; manage camp staffing, scheduling, registration, and day-of operations; assist with daily practices and training sessions; lead position-specific development as assigned (preferably setters or passers); contribute to recruiting, scouting, video breakdown, and match preparation; support administrative functions of the program; and maintain full compliance with NCAA, conference, and university policies.

Assistant/Associate Head Coach – Women’s Volleyball
Washington State University is seeking a dynamic, experienced Assistant/Associate Head Volleyball Coach to serve as a strategic partner to the Head Coach in leading and elevating a competitive NCAA Division I program. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated success in collegiate volleyball coaching; a Master’s degree and/or NCAA Division I experience is preferred. Based on qualifications, experience, and assigned responsibilities, this position may be designated as Associate Head Coach at the discretion of the Head Coach.
Responsibilities
The Assistant/Associate Head Coach will serve as a senior leader within the program, helping define and implement the team’s competitive identity, standards, and long-term vision; contribute to roster management, scholarship strategy, and program alignment; mentor other assistant coaches and support staff; drive leadership development initiatives; partner with athletic administration and communications to enhance program visibility, alumni engagement, and brand growth; co-lead practice planning and daily training; oversee position-specific development (preferably setters or passers); contribute to scouting, match strategy, and in-game adjustments; support cross-departmental coordination; and ensure full compliance with NCAA, conference, and university policies.
