RS-SENIOR (2021): Named a nominee for the 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, student-athletes with stories of exemplary community service, alongside their academic dedication and impact on and off the field...appeared in seven games…made four tackles and shared a tackle-for-loss…made two tackles against Utah State…shared a TFL and had a QB hurry against Portland State…made 1 tackle at Utah.
RS-JUNIOR (2020): Started all four games at defensive tackle…recorded eight tackles including one for loss…made three tackles at Oregon State…recorded three tackles and a QB hurry against No. 11 Oregon…made one tackle-for-loss at No. 20 USC…recorded one stop at Utah...earned bachelor's degree in digital technology and culture.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2019): Named CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 First Team (Digital Technology and Culture, 3.81 GPA)…named to Pac-12 Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll…appeared in all 13 games, seven as a starter…recorded 13 tackles including a pair of sacks…third on team with 5.5 tackles-for-loss…recorded 1.5 tackles-for-loss and forced a fumble against Northern Colorado…recorded four tackles at Utah including career-high two TFL with first career sack…made first career start at Arizona State, tallied three tackles with one sack…made two stops including one TFL at Oregon…made two tackles in win over Oregon State.
RS-FRESHMAN (2018): Appeared in five games...made collegiated debut on defense at Wyoming...made two tackles, recorded first career tackle-for-loss against San Jose State.
FRESHMAN (2017): Redshirt season.
PREP SCHOOL
Played one season at Deerfield Academic Prep School in Connecticut…was named the All-Central New England Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-New England honors.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for Paul James at Cedar Rapids Washington High School in Iowa…team went combined 24-3 in his two varsity seasons…also played basketball and baseball…as a SENIOR team posted a 10-2 record, reaching Iowa 4A quarterfinals…played in the River Battle Bowl all-star game in Omaha, making five tackles with a sack…missed JUNIOR season due to injury as team went to Iowa 4A Championship game.
PERSONAL
Parents, Darrell and Angela...older sister, Aleena...dad, Darrell played defensive line for Iowa in late 1970's.
