Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Cougar Club is to promote the mission of the Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF), the fundraising arm of the Washington State University Athletic Department. The mission is twofold:

1. Strive to provide a meaningful experience, through educational and capital support, for all of Washington State University's student-athletes in competition, the classroom, and the community
   
2. Identify, recruit, cultivate, and steward alumni and friends so that the foundation of support for the Athletic Department continues to expand. Specifically, the Cougar Club will:
   
   1. Continually promote and solicit CAF membership through the execution of annually established goals
   2. Assist with the planning and execution of events and projects undertaken by the CAF and the respective Cougar Club
   3. Serve as ambassadors of the CAF, the Athletic Department, and WSU
