All food collected will go to the Community Action Center of Pullman.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Looking to give back to the community that has supported them as student-athletes, the Washington State women's basketball team will be collecting food Wednesday, Sept. 27 as part of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Day of Service. The Cougs will be holding their food drive in front of Dissmore's IGA grocery store from 4 - 6 p.m. with all donations going to the Community Action Center of Pullman. All donations are welcome to help stock the shelves of the CAC for the winter.

Last year, 118 programs committed to performing service projects and posting about it on social media on one dedicated date.

The CAC, open since 1988, has been a primary resource for the more than 14,000 people living in poverty in Whitman County. The center works with households for stability and to exit poverty throughout County.
