Luke Falk was named the Pac-12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week, conference commissioner Larry Scott announced Monday.
Falk earns is fifth career Pac-12 weekly accolade and first this season after throwing for 396 yards and tying a school record with six touchdown passes in the 52-23 win over Oregon State. In four career starts against OSU, Falk owns a 4-0 record, averaged 422.3 passing yards per game, totaled 1,689 yards, 22 touchdowns and just two interceptions. It was his second career six-touchdown game, the first coming against Oregon State in 2015.
Falk owns school records for passing yards (11,793), passing touchdowns (98), total offense (11,521), pass completions (1,141), pass attempts (1,643) and 300-yard games (25). He enters the week forth in Pac-12 history in passing touchdowns, fifth in passing yards and seventh in total offense.
Washington State (3-0) is off to its best start since 2005 and is ranked No. 18, its highest ranking since finishing the 2003 season ranked No. 9.
