THIS WEEK: The WSU men's golf will hit the road for the first time this season to compete in the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The tournament will take place at the Cedar Rapids Country Club September 17
th-18th.

THE COURSE: WSU's Palouse Ridge Golf Club is located on campus and was the host for the 2015 Men's Pac-12 Golf Championships…the 7,308-yard track will play at par 71...teams will play 36 holes Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m…the tournament concludes Tuesday with 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m…the course, which opened in Aug. 2008, was named to Golfweek's Top College Courses list in 2014 and 2015.

THE FIELD: The 15-team field will include Campbell, Eastern Michigan, Furman, Georgia, Iowa, Lipscomb, Louisiana-Monroe, McNeese State, North Carolina State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Southern Illinois, UNC-Wilmington, and Washington State.

LAST TIME ON THE GREEN: WSU claimed the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate title after shooting an 819(-33), just one stroke less than second place finisher Boise State. Junior
AJ Armstrong tied for 5
th place, shooting a -2 over the first two rounds and a -6 in the third for a total score of 205. Junior
Grant Cole finished shortly behind with a 206, and landed in 7
th place overall.

COACHING STAFF: The men's golf team is led by second-year head coach
Dustin White, a WSU alum who golfed for the Cougars from 1999-2003…assisting White is
Chris Gilbert, a second-year assistant coach with four years of collegiate and three years professional golfing experience.
