PULLMAN, Wash. – No. 14 Washington State University rowing completed the home portion of its spring racing schedule, Saturday, on the Snake River at Wawawai Landing. The top-ranked Huskies swept all six races. Crews battled 7-10 m.p.h. quartering headwinds under clear skies.
"I think the individual efforts by all of our boats were there," said WSU head coach
Jane LaRiviere. "We've got things to work on, but we were out-gunned. There's a really good reason that they are the No. 1 team in the country. We'll just get back to it on Monday and there's still a lot of speed out there. I am optimistic about getting a little faster for Pac-12s."
