PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State freshman
Justin Janke is one of six runners selected for the USA U20 Men's team to compete at the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Cross Country Championships March 4, in Boca Raton, Florida, USATF announced Thursday.

Janke, from Spokane, Wash., finished eighth at the 2017 USATF Cross Country National Junior Men's Championships Feb. 4. He ran the muddy and snowy 8,000m course at the Rivers Edge Golf Course in a time of 26 minutes, 41 seconds.

The Team USA rosters for the NACAC meet includes six senior men, six senior women, six U20 men, and six U20 women. The men's teams will be coached by Oregon's Bob Latham.

USATF also announced the USA Team rosters for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, set for Sunday, March 26, in Kampala, Uganda. The senior men's and women's and U20 men's and women's squads also have six runners each. Janke was a member of the WSU cross country team that took 14th place in the NCAA Championships. He finished 48th overall at the Pac-12 Championships, ninth on the team, but did not compete at the NCAA West Region or NCAA Championships meet.
