PULLMAN, Wash. – Saturday marks the 110th meeting between Washington State and Washington on the football field, known as the Apple Cup. Beginning this year, Boeing, which has been a proud sponsor of the rivalry game for many years, has expanded its involvement to include all sports between the two schools, known as the Boeing Apple Cup Series.

"Boeing employs thousands of graduates from the University of Washington and Washington State University, and we are very proud of the long-standing partnerships we have with both universities that stretch from academics to athletics," said Kevin McAllister, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "With this newly expanded Boeing Apple Cup Series, we are honored to celebrate the athletes and healthy competition between school teams – not just for one iconic football game, but for all of the men's and women's sports encompassed by the Boeing Apple Cup Series."

Unveiling a new logo, the newly expanded series looks to highlight the outstanding student-athletes at the two universities and will included matchups in football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball and soccer, baseball, along with women's tennis and crew.

Boeing will be providing an in-stadium gift to the first 10,000 fans to arrive at the game! It will be a clear drawstring bag, emblazoned with the Boeing Apple Cup Series logo, along with a reversible fandana to keep fans warm and show their school pride.
