The entire Italy trip was a great experience and showed me many different venues and views I had never seen before. Today we had a full day of adventure and traveling. We woke up and went to breakfast at about 9 a.m. and shortly after that we walked in Como to a nearby boat which we used as a team tour around the city and as a great team bonding experience.

We took the boat around the entire Lake Como area and saw many different sites such as the house where Ocean's Twelve was filmed, we also saw a house in which to rent cost 20,000 euros a night. We went to a city called Bellagio where we stayed for about an hour looking in the shops and eating some great gelato. We also had time to shop around and buy gifts for our family back in the U.S. I enjoyed getting to see the different shops they had and seeing the different types of clothes and styles the country had. Most days being out here we had pasta and chicken.

After our tour we went to our game which was great learning experience because it did teach us how to have humility at all times. It was a hard fought game that we lost but ended up losing due to lack of focus and fight through adversity.

Go Cougs!

Today was a good last day in Italy and in Como. We woke up and had the opportunity to go on a boat tour of Lake Como. It was beautiful. We had a tour guide that was explaining things about the lake while we were going. She was pointing out all of the awesome villas that were surrounding the lake. The weather was nice, the views were incredible, and at the end we got to stop at the town of Bellagio. And yes, it's the town that inspired the construction and style of the Bellagio hotel in Vegas. We stayed in Bellagio for about an hour and shopped for a little. The big thing in Bellagio is the silk. It's supposed to be some of the best in Italy and in Europe. After we left Bellagio, we went back to the hotel we were staying at and rested before the game. The game was a definite learning experience for us. After being up by a lot at half, the other team came back and won. It should serve as a wakeup call for us and hopefully we can avoid a situation like that in the future.

Thanks for your support,
Jeff Pollard
