WSU Hall of Fame Members
Eight new honorees and two teams joined the 159 members of the WSU Athletic Hall of Fame during campus ceremonies Sept. 21-22, 2012.
2012 Hall of Fame Class

Isaac Fontaine
► Washington State's all-time scoring leader with 2,003 points
► Finished his career 12th on the Pacific-10 Conference career scoring list
► Two-time All-Pac-10 first team selection
► WSU's Pac-10 medal recipient in 1997
► After WSU had stints in the NBA and played professionally in Italy

Samson Kimombwa
► Garnered a total of nine All-America certificates from 1975-80
► Captured the 1977 NCAA 10,000m outdoor title
► Broke the world record for the 10,000m in a time of 27:31.47 at the World Games in Helsinki
► Won three conference titles and had eight NCAA top-five finishes in his career

Kim Lynass
► WSU's all-time leader in goals (80) and points scored (177)
► Single-season mark of 30 goals in 1990 ranked third and 1.50 goals per game ranked fourth in all-time NCAA records
► Continues to hold school top four season marks in goals and points
► NCAA Far West All-America First Team (1993) and Pac-10 All-Academic (1993)

Steve Ostermann
► Three-year starter at guard for the Cougars
► Three-time All-Pacific-8 Conference first-team selection
► Named to the All-West Coast first team by both Associated Press and United Press International following junior season
► Selected for Hula Bowl after his senior campaign
► received WSU's Laurie Niemi Award for courage, spirit and humility

Jenni Ruff
► Finished her Cougar career among numerous top 10 lists, including second in points scored (1,526) and third in rebounds (727)
► Scored a school-record 41 points against California
► Set Pac-10 records with 203 free throws and 261 free throw attempts senior year
► All-Pac-10 first team and Kodak (WBCA) and Associated Press honorable mention All-America

Gabriel Tiacoh
► Spent three years in Pullman, arriving after two years at the University of Paris
► Captured the silver medal in the 400m at the 1984 Olympics after his sophomore season
► Three-time Pac-10 champion in same event
► Captured the NCAA title as a senior, running school- and meet-record time of 44.30

Jack Fanning
► Played football and ran track for the Cougars from 1955-60
► Career football totals were 45 receptions for 714 yards, along with a 15.9 per catch average
► Led the nation in TD receptions with nine in 1957, same season he caught a school-record three TD passes against Nebraska
► Competed as a pole vaulter in track.

Bud Roffler
► Earned three varsity letters in football and two in baseball
► Two-way player on the gridiron, scoring team-best nine touchdowns as a senior
► During career accounted for touchdowns rushing, passing receiving, returning both kickoffs and punts
► Senior year led baseball team in hits, batting average, RBI and doubles.
