PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University Head Football Coach Mike Leach will headline the 50th Annual Cougar Sports Banquet, Thursday, Aug. 16 at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Leach, who makes his Cougar coaching debut when WSU travels to BYU, Aug. 30, will be joined by WSU Director of Athletics Bill Moos along with several Cougar head coaches for the evening. The night is the traditionally the kickoff event for Cougar athletics each fall.

"The Fall Sports Banquet is always one of the highlights for Cougar fans leading into football season," said Moos. "There is so much energy and excitement that surrounds this time of the year, for all our sports, and this night is a great way to kick it off."
