Washington State Expands Radio Coverage in the Seattle Area

June 2, 2011 PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University Athletics and IMG College have agreed to a multi-year, multi-faceted agreement with Bonneville Seattle Media Group giving the Cougars exclusive coverage of football and men's basketball in the Seattle area. The three-year agreement, which begins this fall, includes coverage of all football and men's basketball games on 770 KTTH AM, a weekly segment on 710 ESPN Seattle during the Kevin Calabro Show with Jim Moore from 3-7 p.m. weekdays, a dedicated section on MyNorthwest.com and 710Sports.com, full-time streaming of football and men's basketball games, along with podcasts of games and related Cougar Athletics programming on both KTTH and 710 ESPN Seattle. "Seattle area Cougars have asked for greater coverage and I believe we have delivered," said WSU Director of Athletics Bill Moos. "This partnership with Bonneville, which is one of the Northwest's premier sports broadcasting groups, will provide our fans much greater access to Washington State football and men's basketball games." Additionally, Cougar gamedays include a two-hour pregame and one hour postgame football show, along with a 30-minute pre and postgame show for men's basketball. "We are proud to partner with Washington State University Athletics and the Pac-12 as we provide Cougar alumni and fans in the Puget Sound area with play by play broadcasts of WSU football and men's basketball," said Bonneville Seattle Media Group Director of Sales Dave Pridemore. "In addition, we will offer a weekly Coaches Show on 770 KTTH, informative weekly segments from Cougar Insiders on 710 ESPN Seattle and 710sports.com." Bonneville Seattle Media Group is the home of News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM, 710 ESPN Seattle, 770 KTTH AM. It is home to the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, Sounders FC, Seattle University men's basketball, the Seattle Thunderbirds and now Washington State University football and men's basketball. IMG College, which began a 10-year agreement as Washington State's multi-media rights holder last year, manages the Cougar Sports Radio Network, corporate marketing opportunities involving hospitality events, on-site promotions at Cougar football and basketball games, and oversees sales for all signage at Martin Stadium, Friel Court at Beasley Coliseum and all Washington State competition sites.
