Cougar Legends

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Cougar Athletic Fund, the fundraising arm of the Washington State University Athletic Department, will partner with Sterling Bank to host the second annual Cougar Legends Weekend, June 8-9, at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

"Last year's inaugural Cougar Legends Weekend was a great event and a tremendous success, WSU Director of Athletics Bill Moos said. "We have built on that success and believe this year's activities have the potential to be even better. This event is truly a way for our program to honor the past while waving the flag for Cougar Athletics.

Cougar Legends Weekend will kick off with a dinner and auction, Friday, June 8. Each group will have the chance to bid on a Cougar Legend to be a part of its team for Saturday's golf tournament.

Saturday begins with breakfast at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course, followed by the tournament, and ending with a dinner Saturday evening at the resort.

Legends confirmed to be in attendance for the weekend include: Drew Bledsoe, Mark Rypien and Jack Thompson. Additional legends will be announced in the coming weeks.
