Johnson, a redshirt junior from Centralia, Wash., earned a win and a save in his two appearances against No. 16 Oklahoma. Johnson, who missed last season with an injury to his right forearm, picked up the victory, Friday, Feb. 27, for his first win since May 26, 2006. He worked two-shutout innings, gave up one hit, and struck out a then-career high four.

Two days later, he pitched three innings of hitless ball, gave up one walk, one run and struck out a career high six to notch his first-collegiate save. For the week, he gave up one run, one hit, walked one and struck out 10 in five innings for a 1.80 earned run average.

Other noteworthy performances from the week include senior Taylor Rochestie, who averaged 13 points, 5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds playing all 85 minutes in the sweep over the Arizona schools. His 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds left in overtime lifted the Cougars to a 51-49 upset of the Sun Devils on Saturday.

Freshman April Cook recorded her 20th and 21st double-digit scoring efforts of the season including 12 points in the 63-56 win over Arizona, completing a season sweep over the Wildcats for the first time since the 1995-96 season.

Lorraine King, a senior from Fontana, Calif., won the women's 60 hurdles with a lifetime-best time of 8.46 seconds at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Track Championships. King just missed the NCAA PQ time of 8.43. King also took fourth place in the women's 400m dash with a PR time of 54.95. Her 60m hurdles time is the fifth-best in school history and eclipsed her previous PR time of 8.53. In addition, King ran the anchor leg of the women's 4x400m relay team that finished fourth in a season-best time of 3:41.59.
