It's back for the summer of 2012! Each Friday the Crimson ZZU will feature a photo for 'Photo Friday' as a way to look back at the 2011-12 season and the history of Cougar Basketball and to help count down the days to next season. The photos will range from fun to serious to spectacular and more.

This photo of Aron Baynes as a member of the Australia Boomers was taken three years ago by Bill Baxter of Basketball Australia, and is fitting in two major different ways. First off, Baynes will represent Australia in the 2012 Olympics, which begin today. He and the Boomers will open against Brazil, Sunday, July 29 at 3:15 a.m. Pacific Time. Secondly, today marks just one week until the 2012-13 WSU men's basketball squad leaves for its international tour in...Australia. The Cougars will leave for Melbourne, Australia, Friday, Aug. 3, arriving Sunday, Aug. 5 Australia time. The Cougs will also stop by Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns before returning to Pullman Thursday, Aug. 16.
