It's back for the summer of 2012! Each Friday the Crimson ZZU will feature a photo for 'Photo Friday' as a way to look back at the 2011-12 season and the history of Cougar Basketball and to help count down the days to next season. The photos will range from fun to serious to spectacular and more.

This photo is a blast from the recent past. With yesterday's announcement of the team's trip to Australia this August, it's only fitting to feature a photo from the last time the team went on a trip, which also happened to be to Australia. Also fittingly, here in this photo is the only remaining member of the men's basketball program that made the journey to Australia, ninth-year assistant coach Ben Johnson. In this photo Johnson is posing on the beach with Kyle Weaver, Aron Baynes and former operations assistant, Ronnie Wideman. Weaver is currently wrapping up NBA Summer League action with the Utah Jazz, while Baynes is preparing for the Olympics as a member of the Boomers, Australia's national team.
