With the 2012 London Olympic Games fast approaching, check out this NBC San Diego profile on past Cougar and Olympian thrower Ian Waltz.
Waltz, shown below throwing the shot put in 2000 meet at Mooberry Track, previously competed on the 2004 and 2008 Olympic teams.
Waltz was a seven-time All-American at WSU, and won the Pac-10 discus titles in 1997 and 2000 and the shot put title in 1997. Read his bio on the USA Track and Field website HERE.
