The Cougars returned to the practice field to begin preparations for Oregon tonight...the team worked out in just helmets for just over an hour and spent a lot more time on gameplanning than any previous Monday workout...a lot of energy and noise coming out of the defense tonight, good to hear Alex Hoffman-Ellis leading the way...this morning, the coaches announced their weekly team awards, awarding Marquess Wilson offensive player of the week, Bennett Bontemps special teams player of the week, Anthony Carpenter got the Big Hit award, Wilson got the Big Play, running back Kyle Lappano was named scout team player of the week on offense and linebacker Tana Pritchard named defensive scout team player of the week...the Cougs return to practice tomorrow in full pads...GO COUGS!
