The Cougs hit the Rogers practice field for a two-hour workout in full pads Tuesday afternoon...the team ran through a lot of segments with their individual coaches which focused on the game planning for UNLV...below is Coach Wulff's Tuesday teleconference.
The
first couple sessions were special teams with Andrw Furney connecting from 47
yards...there were a couple skelly segments where Marshall Lobbestael connected
on a couple nice passes down the field to Marquess Wilson and Henry Eaddy...Jeff
Tuel was in attendance, wearing shorts and his practice jersey with his
left arm in a sling...Tuel walked with the quarterbacks in each one of their stations,
talking with the other QB's and wideouts after certain plays...the final segment
saw the No. 1 offense and defense square off in a 2-minute drill with the
defense coming away with the victory as Sekope Kaufusi made a diving pass
breakup in the endzone on the final play of the practice...the Cougs return to the
field tomorrow for a 3:45 workout...GO GOUGS!
