It was an early day for the Cougar soccer team as the student-athletes, coaches and support staff had a flight out of Spokane at 6:20 a.m.
There was some practical joking back and forth between student-athletes and head coach Matt Potter and the team and everyone arrived safely in Houston around 2 p.m. Central.
The rest of the day can be found after the jump.
A stop at Subway for lunch was part of the two-hour trip from Houston to College Station, Texas where the Cougars will take part in the Aggieland Invitational beginning tomorrow.
After a quick check-in at the hotel, we headed to campus for a light training session. The team had a chance to see the facility, get some running in and take part in a few drills.
Take out from Olive Garden and video sessions back at the hotel capped the evening. Lights out is just around the corner as the Cougars prepare for the beginning of the tournament.
The Cougars will play Long Beach State at 3 p.m. Pacific tomorrow and live stats can be found on wsucougars.com.
