Washington State Head Women's Soccer Coach Matt Potter talks about the upcoming weekend.
(on freshman starting last weekend)
"We as a coaching staff picked the team that we think can win the game for us. We look at it if a person is capable of contributing, we are going to play her."
(on improving the offense)
"I think some time we are a little individual. Sometimes we need a little more patience to build more numbers in our attack. But, first weekend of the season if that is what we are nitpicking, that is a good thing.
More from Matt Potter after the jump
(on facing Long Beach State and Texas A&M)
"The quality of our opponents is there for all to see. It is a fun environment at Texas A&M and a great college atmosphere for games. We are looking forward to experiencing that. As for the weather, it is the same for both teams, but it obviously predicted to be pretty warm."
(on beginning a month of road/neutral matches)
"This first road trip allows us to learn about ourselves and how we can handle the next phase will be the next road trip. We are going to use this weekend to find how about ourselves so we can get into a routine."
