PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University's men's basketball program will host two separate camps this summer beginning June 20, 2009.
The summer will kick off with the Advanced Camp open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school. The camp will be held June 20-21 and costs $120 per camper with food and housing included in the cost. The camp is designed for young men who are serious about basketball and includes instructional sessions by the staff covering the concepts of basketball both on the offensive and defensive ends. Each camper will participate in drills and 5-on-5 games daily.
The WSU Day Camp will take place June 22-24 and is open to young men ages 8-14. The camp will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $130 per camper. A lunch break will be held daily from noon-1 p.m. with pizza available for purchase. No housing will be provided for the Day Camp. The campers will be given daily instruction by WSU staff and student-athletes, learning basic offensive and defensive fundamentals, as well as competing in 5-on-5 competition.
