Cougar Baseball Set to Host Annual Alumni Weekend

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University baseball team will hold its annual alumni weekend Sept. 10-11, Cougar Head Coach Donnie Marbut announced, Friday.

The festivities begin Friday, Sept. 10 with a golf tournament at Palouse Ridge Golf Club. Registration and check-in begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start for the tournament slated for 8 a.m.

There will be a lunch social at 1 p.m. with a baseball scrimmage at 5 p.m. Alumni can take batting practice following the scrimmage.

Saturday, Sept. 11, there will be a tailgate at Bailey-Brayton Field beginning at 1 p.m. Later that day, the Cougar football team will take on Montana State in its home opener at Martin Stadium.
