--Stanford's first-quarter touchdown pass from Trent Edwards to Mark Bradford marked the first time this season WSU has not scored first.

--WSU averaged 24.5 points in the first half of its first four games before posting seven against in the first half today against Stanford...WSU's seven points marked its lowest first-half output since trailing USC 35-0 at halftime, Oct. 30, 2004 in Pullman.

--WSU senior running back Jerome Harrison broke the 100-yard mark in the first half with 130 yards...eighth straight game over 100 yards and the fourth time in five games this season he reached the milestone in the first half...finished his day with 218 rushing yards, his second-best effort as a Cougar (247 vs. UCLA, 2004)...218 yards on the ground tie for fourth on WSU's all-time single game list.

--Cougar Jerome Harrison's third quarter rushing touchdown was his ninth this season and 18th of his career, moving him into a tie on the WSU career list with Bernard Jackson (1970-71).

--WSU's Aaron Johnson's blocked field goal attempt to end the first half marked the first time a Cougar blocked a field goal since Johnson did so against Colorado at Qwest Field (9/11/04).

--WSU's Kyle Basler collected 218 punting yards and moved into first place ahead of Gavin Hedrick on the WSU career list for punt yardage with 9,573.

--WSU freshman linebacker Greg Trent's 10 tackles in his first start were a career-best.

--Cougar defensive lineman Mkristo Bruce set his career-high with 11 tackles...Bruce had three tackles for loss, including two sacks, one quarterback hurry and one pass defense.

--From the start of the 2001 season through today, the only teams with more total offense than Stanford generated today (475) are Oregon (646) and Arizona State (507) in 2004.

--Stanford's Trent Edwards threw for a season-high 257 yards...tied his career high with three touchdown passes...rushed for a career-high 92 yards.

--The Cardinal's Gerren Crochet recorded career highs with five receptions and 60 receiving yards...Mark Bradford's two touchdown receptions were a career-high.

--Stanford recorded team season highs in total yards (475), passing yards (257), rushing yards (218), penalties (8) and penalty yards (70).

--Cardinal defeated Cougars for second straight year at WSU...Stanford has won three straight in Pullman...WSU is 0-5 all-time against Stanford in Pacific-10 home openers...dating back to Pacific-8, Cougars are 0-6-1 against Cardinal in conference home openers.

--Stanford has won two straight road games for the first time since victories at Arizona State (11/13/99) and Washington State (9/2/00).
