PULLMAN, Wash. -- FieldTurf has become the first major sponsor of the COUGAR ATHLETICS TICKET GRANT PROGRAM, Washington State Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs Jon Oliver announced, Tuesday. The program is new for the 2001 Cougar Football season, focusing on providing tickets to youth of Eastern Washington.
The FieldTurf contribution will allow 1,000 youth the opportunity to experience the excitement of Cougar Athletics while stressing the importance of education.
The purpose of the program is to have companies and individuals donate tickets to WSU that in turn will be given to underprivileged youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a university sporting event, or will be utilized as an educational incentive by local schools.
The program is part of Washington State University Athletics goal to connect with Eastern Washington communities while offering positive role models and activities for local youth.
DONOR REWARDS: Individuals and companies donating tickets will receive recognition for being a member of the Cougar Athletics Ticket Grant Program. Your name and/or company logo will be printed on ticket vouchers, informational letters and other forms of correspondence that will go out to all children and organizations who will benefit from the Ticket Grant Program, thanking you for making this program possible.

JUST A REMINDER: Contributions that neither directly nor indirectly in the receipt of a benefit may be fully deductible for federal income tax purposes. Donors should consult with their tax advisor for more specific information.
