PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University baseball fans can look forward to expanded coverage of the Cougars in 2011.

Coming off two-straight NCAA postseason appearances, Washington State will play 31 of its 55 games at Bailey-Brayton Field this season and every pitch will be available to the public.

Of the Cougars' 55 games, 52 will be carried live on radio at KQQQ 1150 AM or KHTR 104.3 FM. Two outings (Feb. 19 at Cal State Bakersfield and March 5 vs. Minnesota) will be available on wsucougars.com only. Veteran announcer Steve Grubbs will describe the action for the majority of the events.

The Cougars will make five appearances on television, including four live telecasts. Washington State hosts UCLA (April 9 at 1 p.m.) and Washington (April 30 at noon) on FSN Northwest. The Cougars entertain Oregon (May 21 at 2 p.m. and May 22 at noon) on the Oregon Sports Network. Washington State's game at California, March 25 will be televised by FSN tape delayed, March 26 at a time to be announced.

With the exception of the two home games on FSN Northwest, all games at Bailey-Brayton Field will have a live webcast available on wsucougars.com. Also available at wsucougars.com are weekly features, game highlights and Cougar Head Coach Donnie Marbut press conferences by Clicking Here

New this season is a weekly coach's show held each Monday when the team is in town at South Fork restaurant in Pullman. The show will begin Feb. 28 and run from 7-8 p.m.

Season-long promotions at Bailey-Brayton Field include Family Friday when $20 buys four general admission tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas. Friday games are also free to Washington State faculty with ID thanks to Washington State Employees Credit Union.

Sunday is another great day to bring the family to the ballpark as kids can run the bases after the game and everyone can obtain autographs from Cougar student-athletes. Season and single-game tickets are on sale now at wsucougars.com or 1-800-GO-COUGS.

Washington State opens its 2011 campaign with a three-game series at Cal State Bakersfield, Feb. 18-20. The Cougars' home slate begins with a three-game set against UC Santa Barbara, Feb. 25-27.
