RS-SOPHOMORE (2012):Earned a varsity letter after appearing in nine games, making five starts...passed for 1,874 yards with 15 touchdowns and 13 interceptions...went 151-for-290...recorded four 300-passing yard games...threw multiple touchdowns in three games...completed 20 passes of 25+yards....threw six touchdown passes of 25+yards including three of 50+...elected a team captain three times (Colorado, Oregon, at Oregon State)...started, went 26-of-45 for 378 yards and four touchdowns (4, 18, 52, 81) in win at UNLV...started against Colorado, went 32-for-60 (second-most attempts in WSU single-game history) for 401 yards and four touchdowns (32, 23, 15, 49)...started against No. 2 Oregon in Seattle, went 33-for-60 for 348 yards and one touchdown...started at No. 14 Oregon State and against California...went 3-for-8 for 23 yards at Utah...relieved Jeff Tuel, completed 26-of-43 passes for 330 yards and a career-high five touchdowns (6, 7, 4, 11, 3), four in the second half, in comeback-attempt against No. 17 UCLA, tying for second-most touchdown passes in WSU single-game history...went 13-for-33 for 173 yards and one 54-yard touchdown pass in relief of Jeff Tuel at Arizona State.
RS-FRESHMAN (2011): Appeared in four games, earning one start...came off the bench, was 6-of-13 for 67 yards and one 20-yard touchdown pass against Idaho State...came off the bench, was 5-of-6 for 110 yards with touchdown passes of 57 yards and 10 yards against UNLV...named Manning Award National Player of the Week and Bank of the West Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after relieving Marshall Lobbestael against Arizona State and throwing for WSU freshman records of 494 yards and four touchdowns on 27-of-36 in the win over ASU...the 494 yards are the second most in game all-time by a Cougar and most ever by a freshman in the Pac-12 Conference...threw an 85-yard TD pass to Marquess Wilson on his first series and earned Cougar Offensive Player of the Week honors against ASU...threw touchdown passes for 85, 23, 19 and 17 yards...was also named national quarterback of the week by the College Football Performance Awards...started and went 21-of-48 for 289 yards and two touchdowns of six and nine yards against Utah...missed the Apple Cup with a lacerated liver suffered against Utah.
FRESHMAN (2010): Redshirt season...earned Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week accolades against Montana State and Arizona.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
JUNIOR year completed 170-of-286 passes for 2,404 yards and 21 touchdowns...also a standout on the hardwood, garnering second-team All-Greater Spokane League honors...SENIOR year led Saxons to the state championship game...completed 310-of-477 passes for 4,198 yards and 43 touchdowns en route to GSL Offensive Most Valuable Player honors...his 2,260 yards passing in eight GSL games broke the league record of 1,975 (previously held by former Cougar Mark Rypien)...named Tacoma News-Tribune All-State (all classifications) and EvergreenStatePreps.com All-State (4A)...also named honorable mention all-state (4A) by the Associated Press...three-star prospect according to Scout.com was rated No. 11 overall in the state of Washington and No. 25 at his position nationally...three-star prospect according to Rivals.com was rated No. 15 overall in the state of Washington and the No. 37 pro-style quarterback nationally...Tacoma News-Tribune Northwest Nugget honorable mention...member of TNT's Western 100...Seattle Times Red Chip prospect.
