CLOSE CONFERENCE GAMES
Although the Cougars are 3-14 in the Pacific-10 Conference, they have held second-half leads in a majority of their league games. WSU has held second-half leads in eight of the team's 14 conference losses, including five leads with less than 10 minutes remaining and three with less than four minutes on the clock.

LAST TIME AGAINST OREGON STATE
KiKi Moore was the only Cougar to score in double figures (19) - and the only WSU player to attempt a free throw - in the team's conference-opener Jan. 1, and the Cougars fell 63-49 to the Beavers at Gill Coliseum.

Despite getting in early foul trouble, the Cougars went into halftime with a 29-27 lead. The WSU defense held the Beavers to 10-of-29 shooting (34.5 percent) and forced 12 turnovers in the opening stanza, and Moore paced the Cougars with 11 first-half points. The Beavers found their shooting touch in the second half, connecting on 56 percent of their attempts (14-of-25). At the other end of the floor the Cougars shot just 25.7 percent (9-of-35), and were outscored 36-20.

THE SERIES
The Cougars are looking to split the season series with Oregon State for the fourth-consecutive season. WSU trails 24-44 in the all-time series, but has won each of the last two games played at Friel Court. The Cougars are 16-15 when playing at home.

LOOKING FOR A SWEEP
The Cougars are looking for their first weekend sweep over a conference opponent in more than nine years. WSU's last weekend sweep occurred in 2000-01, when WSU knocked off USC (Jan. 4; 79-78) and UCLA (Jan. 6; 74-52).

MOORE ASSISTS
KiKi Moore's six assists against Oregon Friday gave her 102 on the season. She is just the third Cougar freshman to record 100-plus in a season in NCAA history, and the first since record-holder Jade Hyett posted 159 in 1995-96.
