OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Both Washington State University women's collegiate eight A and B crews advanced to the NightSprint Grand Finals to take place Saturday night at the 2008 Head of the Oklahoma on the Oklahoma River Saturday afternoon.

The WSU A boat placed third in the NightSprint qualifier with a time of 14:44.287. Stanford's A team won the race with a time of 14:25.935, followed by Radcliffe A with a time of 14:36.955.

In the women's open four event later in the afternoon, three of the Cougars' four boats placed in the top four. WSU took a one-two finish as the A crew won the race with a time of 16:02.231. The D boat came in second, clocking a time of 16:30.033. WSU's B boat crossed the finish line in a time of 16:37.393.
