WASHINGTON STATE POSTGAME NOTES

--Washington State won its season opener for the fifth straight season...WSU is 7-1 in season openers on a neutral floor...second time the Cougars have opened with a win in Wisconsin (won 66-64 at Wisconsin to begin 1982-83 season).

--The Cougars jumped out to a 15-2 lead and never trailed in the game.

--Junior guard Derrick Low scored a career-high 28 points...most points by a Cougar since Thomas Kelati had 29 at California, March 5, 2005.

--Redshirt-Sophomore forward Daven Harmeling tallied a career-high 11 points.

--Sophomore point guard Mac Hopson dished out nine assists.

--Senior forward Ivory Clark had two blocks and moved into a tie for 20th place on the WSU all-time list with 33.
