STEVINSON, Calif. - Washington State's Ryan Camp fired a 1-under 143 to put him in a 13th place tie after the first two rounds of the Sixth Annual Stevinson-Ranch Invitational at the Stevinson Ranch Golf Club, a par 72, 7,191 yard course Monday.
Camp opened the day with an even par 72 in the first round, and finished with a 1-under 71 in the second. Camp has now fired four out of his last five rounds at par or better and is looking to finish in the top 25 for the fourth time in his last five tournaments.
Jordan Madison fired a team low with a 2-under 70 to finish the day at 1-over with a 145. Madison is currently tied for 22nd and is looking to improve on his team leading seven top 25 finishes this season. Both Madison and Camp have recorded two top 25's already this spring.
The Cougars finished the day with a 593 and is tied with Illinois State for 12th. The team also tied their second lowest single round total of the spring with a 291 in the second round and fired 31 birdies on the day.
Freshman Kevin Chen came up with the team's only eagle and ended the day tied for 59th with a 152 (+8). Chad Carlson is currently tied for 65th and sits with a two round total of 156. Logan Toskey rounded out the Cougar contingent by shooting a 158.
The final 18 holes of action will resume Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start.
