PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Derrick Low and Kyle Weaver scored 15 points apiece Wednesday night to lead Washington State past Wyoming, 63-47.

Ivory Clark added 12 points for Washington State (3-1). Justin Williams led Wyoming (3-2) with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.

The Cowboys trailed 12-1 before scoring their first field goal nearly six minutes into the game. Later in the first half, Washington State outscored Wyoming 16-2 while holding the Cowboys without a field goal for nearly five minutes.

The Cowboys, facing constant defensive pressure, missed 20 of their first 23 field-goal attempts.

Wyoming trailed 36-19 at the half, and never drew closer than 15 points in the second half.

The Cowboys finished the game with 28 percent shooting from the field, 60 percent from the line, 27 turnovers and 19 fouls.

Washington State shot 50 percent from the field and 71 percent from the line. Their 16 steals were one short of the school record.

WSU coach Dick Bennett said senior guard Randy Green, who headed toward the locker room in the final minutes, quit the team. Bennett said Green was upset at being removed from the game.

"I have no intention of letting him back on the team," Bennett said.
