PULLMAN, Wash. - Former Washington State University women's basketball player Katie Appleton recently came back to visit head coach June Daugherty, the Cougars and check out the recently rebranded basketball practice facility.

Appleton played for the Cougs from 2005-09 and currently sits atop the WSU record book for career 3-point field goals made (161) and career starts (110) and is tied for the career lead with 115 games played. The three-time Academic All-Pacific-10 Conference guard also finished her career with 1,068 points.
